At first sight, it is very easy to protect your gymnasium column with gym column pad but there are some important point that we should never neglected. In this report, we will review column pad types, column pad vinyl and column pad mats.
Column Beam Pad Types
Circle Column Beam Pad is one of these columns that it needs to be well measured because this could affect the safety if it is not well taken. A circle column pad too large will move the pad always on bottom and you will have to ty-rap your column. Im sure you want a professional gymnasium as it is your image. A smaller pad will unhide a part of the column and you could risk a lot of wound. Take the time to measure your column circumference and height to make a full protection.
On wall column padding is another type of column that you dont want to let unhide. This column is much more difficult to protect with pads because it needs to be screwed in the wall. Depending on your wall type, you could need help to screw it there and hold it at the same time. This column pad benefit are much more important than other column pads because it is fixed on the wall so, it is a much more tough to move from there.
Square Column pads are the most common type of column. The column protection is very important because corners are very wounding and need more column protection. This column pad can be protected for any size. Normally this type of column is for a judo club, gymnastic, martial arts gymnasium or even school gym.
There are other type like corner pads, foam pads, post pads, goal pads that you must consider as a good protection for your gymnasium or your sport facility.
Column Pad vinyl
Most of the time column pads are covered with Gymtec-18 or Gymtec-24 vinyl. For a gym owner that has not much money should invest in Gymtec-18 for a good protection. If you are looking for a professional protection with a deluxe performance, you have to go with a Gymtec-24 vinyl.
Column Padding Mats
What else is important you would say, the most important part of your column pad is the foam inside. There too you have two choices. Marafoam #110 is the economic one but will probably last less time than the deluxe foam. Protection is almost the same because it is more thick. Protected by a 2″ foam your gym safety will be the most you can do. As I said, to get a better protection, Trocellen 1ΒΌ” is the best choice.
Anyway, most of manufacture will probably have 2 packages, an economic column pad and deluxe column pad that will include everything we said above. If you have more question about your gymnasium column pad, feel free to contact us at anytime info@webclic.info .
